'Alanis' and 'Now Is The Time' where both only
released on vinal and are both out of print. Both these albums where very
different to her later work, they where writen
like '80's pop music rather than '90's modern rock (I have never actually
heard them). Alanis refuses to allow these first
two albums to be rereleased. Alanis realised her true musical loves after
her
first two albums. Alanis says that she was inspired
to write as honestly as she did on 'Jagged Little Pill' after hearing Tori
Amos's Little Earthquakes.
'I cried the first time I heard it. That someone
could write so openly and honestly opened my eyes to a whole new world.'
